Yesterday I went to the bookstore for Bright Lights, and after looking thru the entire "L" section had no luck. Very disappointed since I live in Chicago, and EVERY BOOK STORE SHOULD HAVE YOUR STUFF.
Then I realized I was looking in fiction. Ha ha.
I tried to pick up Bitter the other day for my teacher and they were sold out too! I call for a reprint...or maybe I should stop being lazy and just check another store.

Ahh, yes, the Canadian version of Black Friday. Thanks for remembering us Jenn!
Somewhere along the way we Canadians have forgotten the original purpose of the Boxing Day holiday. But who can be expected to remember such things when we're so distracted by the 70% off signs.
BTW - love the dogs. I am ther proud mummy of a lab. My previous little baby was a cross. His mum was a staffy, his dad (sneaky neighbours dog) was a bull terrier x heeeler. He was a beutiful (big) baby dog. He used to carry a stffed lamb with him everywhere we went, and some idiots still called him aggresive - they would come up and abuse me while he was plying with his lamb. Um excuse me... who is visious here. Anyhoo, love what you are doing for the pitties - they are gentel dogs, sadly some of them meet clusterfuck owners who mistreat them.
Love your work in so many ways. I recommend your books to all my friends, and theirs'. Is it ever possible you would do a tour in Aust? I live in Tas (and we have a couple of magic cocktail bars I could take you too) but I am willing to travel to Sydney or Melbourne (major cities, lots of people). You are fabulous and I would love to meet you, and would be ok with you not wanting to hang out for beverages, but would love it if you wanted to. We have a beautiful country - come, try our food, wine, and hospitality:)
I'm glad to see a couple of other people also saw the Christmas dinner post. I thought I was hallucinating or something!! I got a Borders giftcard for Christmas, so now SAPF is paid for -- all I have to do is wait (and wait ... and wait ...) for the May publication date!!!
Okay so this is waaay off topic, but I went to pick up Bright Lights Big Ass the other day and the bookstore was SOLD OUT. Dammit!
Sucks for me, but nice for you!
Loved Bitter. It got me thru sitting at the hospital for a week while hubby was there for back surgery. Thanks for making the week a little easier for me!
Smooches!
I enjoyed the post from your Christmas dinner! I kept checking back for updates and was happy to see you ate before the clock struck 12!! BTW, I gave my best friend the first two books for Christmas and she was hooked from the first chapter. I can't wait for the new book to come out...it seems like I will have to wait forever. Until then, I will get my Jen fix from the blog. Thanks for keeping an Atlanta girl smiling:)
What happened to the standng rib roast post? I was hoping for an update...
PS - Enlightened all of the women in my family Christmas Eve about BITNB, BLBA, and SAPF - I think you have some new fans, Jen! Now I know you can't come to visit just us, but would it help knowing that my sister in law's mother was the queen bee of the Junior League count for anything? Just thought I'd check :o)

I've heard of catching fish by "fisting", but this is ridiculous.
