We're still working on Minneapolis and Indy and I'll post those dates/places when they're settled. I think I'm also booked to be at Printer's Row in Chicago June 7-8, but don't have any details. When I know, you'll know.
Hope to see you all... somewhere!

Fingers crossed for Minneapolis!!

WOOHOO!! I'll see you at the B&N on May 6th in Lincoln Park and then again when you are in my hood at the Printers Row Bookfair! Since I pre-ordered, if I don't have it on 5/6/08 for you to sign, I'll bring it to the Printers Row fest. CANNOT wait to meet you and read the new book!
Posted by: Renee in Chicago | February 15, 2008 at 11:05 AM
Damn! I'll be out of town the week you come to my city.
Posted by: Nanz | February 15, 2008 at 10:59 AM
See you in Cincinnati! A group of us girls from Toledo will be making the trip, we can't wait:)

I wish you were doing some dates in Canada! We love you too up here ya know? I mean really though? How Could we not? I can't wait for the next book to come out! I'm sure I will devour it like the others!

OMG!!!! My friend and I cannot wait to see you in SF!! We adore you so much we might have to come to both nights! We will also be bringing you some amazing wine from the winery we work at! Can't wait!!!
Posted by: Ashley | February 14, 2008 at 04:09 PM
What are the chances? My friend Margie and I often celebrate our birthdays together by inviting all our peeps to something way cool, and when you announced you are coming to Portland on Margie's exact birthday, we new it was a sign! We are bringing 14 fabulous women to meet you and we don't want to scare you off or seem stalkerish but you simply must come out for drinks with us after you're off the clock! Margie is a long confirmed fun magnet and I promise she'll give you plenty of material for blogging/writing, especially once "alcohol is involved"!

Ready for the underpants story......You're killing me with suspense....
Posted by: Shelli | February 14, 2008 at 03:17 PM
I'm SO excited that Cincinnati is on your list! I've recently read Bright Lights and am currently reading Bitter (Backwards, I know but whatever) at the suggestion of some of my girlfriends who raved about them and they weren't kidding! They are the kind of books that even my husband will listen attentively and laugh hysterically at when I reread parts to him!
Posted by: Alisha | February 14, 2008 at 01:46 PM
Jen, I'm in heaven. Your Dallas date coordinates perfectly with The Police tour date...I love you even more!!! Can't wait to meet you!
Posted by: Megan | February 14, 2008 at 01:41 PM
Books, Inc. on Chestnut in SF is only 6 blocks from my apartment! Needless to say, I am VERY excited and will definitely be there! I will even buy you lovely glasses of wine at any of the numerous wine bars on Chestnut. YAY!
Posted by: Kristen | February 14, 2008 at 12:11 PM
I just recently discovered your books! You are brilliant! I could not put "Bitter is the new Black" down! I decided that my school work could wait because your book was way more interesting! I am looking forward to your new book and seeing you in Atlanta!!

I really wish you could make it to Milwaukee for the tour. I know, I know it's close to Chicago but I'm going to be out of the country the week of May 6 and unfortunately will miss it.
Your books are fabulous - I can't wait for your new one.
Cheers!

*sigh of relief*
I thought you'd cut out Indy for some reason and almost went into a panic for a sec there!
Posted by: Cyndi | February 13, 2008 at 11:59 PM
That's quite a schedule, there. I wouldn't be able to do that, but I admire you for it. And Atlanta is quite a possibility.
Posted by: Lauryn | February 13, 2008 at 09:31 PM
OK - no more whinning...at least most of you can drive to one of the signings! I'm stuck here in the Virgin Islands and can't even swim to one! Jen - maybe after all your tiring travels you and Fletch should just stop down to St. Croix to relax?!?! I would promise fabulous drinks, fun and sun!
Posted by: Sue | February 13, 2008 at 09:05 PM
Are you kidding - no Boston?
Posted by: Hadley | February 13, 2008 at 09:02 PM
Why no Kansas City? Lots of important authors swing by KC on their tours!!
Posted by: Staci | February 13, 2008 at 08:53 PM
So.... When do we get to read the underpants story?
Posted by: Tamara in T.O. | February 13, 2008 at 07:50 PM
you're going to be across the street from the two-story target in atlanta
Posted by: sara | February 13, 2008 at 06:32 PM
Yay, Seattle (ok, Bothell, but just as close for me)! We'll bring locally-produced chardonnay and locally-produced chocolate for you, and an abundance of enthusiastic ladies clutching your books.
Posted by: Jessica | February 13, 2008 at 05:38 PM
Just one more vote for Boston. Please?????
Posted by: Sarah | February 13, 2008 at 05:27 PM

"You shouldn't say you're coming to "DC" you're going to middle of nowhere VA, I think. Never even heard of. Some serious bus riding will have to be done to get there."
I totally agree! Baileys Crossroads is NOT in DC! It's in Virginia...surburbia. Too bad you didn't pick somewhere in DC so you could have had a fun night out!
Posted by: Andrea | February 13, 2008 at 02:40 PM
Whine! Do I get to whimper if the reason I will miss you is that I'll be on a cruise around Italy? Or will people throw pit bulls and pearls at me if I do that? And if missing your tour date wasn't bad enough, I won't be able to take the new book on the trip. Pout! Sulk!
Posted by: AtlantaDebbie | February 13, 2008 at 01:27 PM
I'm so sad that you aren't coming to South Florida, but I will take a car ride (or plane trip) to see you Jen,---THATS how important you are in my household!!! HURRAY for CINCINNNATI!! Just do not shop in the mall across the street. It is by far one of our worst, even though they redid the front. Kenwood Towne Centre, is like heaven on a bad day.
ok-any day.

I may just have to stop by the borders in Philadelphia.
Posted by: kate | February 13, 2008 at 01:15 AM
Yay, yay, yay for Dallas! I'll wear pearls! We'll bring snacks! Unless you're dieting since you're promoting the whole weight loss book and all. Then snacks might be cruel. Hmm...a quandary...
Posted by: TheOtherJen | February 12, 2008 at 10:55 PM
waaaah! No Boston! Sounds like enough of us right here to warrant it! I promise I would bring lots-o wine, including my new fave, called Bitch. Seriously. It tastes awesome, and the name just says it all. http://volunteer.blogs.com/winewaves/2006/12/bitch_barossa_g.html

Philly is on a FRIDAY? Oh, that means you have to hit the 2 story Target, the designer outlets AND the wine bar! Its going to be a busy weekend :) Let me know if you need a host!

Excuse me, but this is far from true: "You shouldn't say you're coming to 'DC' you're going to middle of nowhere VA, I think. Never even heard of. Some serious bus riding will have to be done to get there."
It's not D.C. proper, of course, but Baileys Crossroads is very near Alexandria and Arlington, which are very close to D.C., and easily accessible from major interstates such as 395/95. It's hardly the middle of nowhere. The Borders is off a busy highway in the middle of big-box hell. Luckily, only about 10 miles from where I live! Woo-hoo
Just Mapquest it.

Ok, I'm so down to make a trip to ATL via car or plane, any takers to join me? (I'm in south Florida) Marta, I see you are in south Florida, c'mon, lets do this!!!
