Just a hint...the good notes get pinned to the front of the shirt. the BAD NEWS always gets pinned on the back. That way the little darlings can't get rid of it before they get home...
Awww! Fletch looks adorable! And, I have the Billy Madison "Back to School" song running through my head. Can you make him sing it? That....would be awesome(on YouTube)!
Now I know why men carry their cell phones in the front pocket of their pants. Immediately draws the eyes downward and one (not me, of course) thinks, OH MY, Jen's a lucky girl. And then one (not me) realizes it's actually square and has an antenna.
Have I missed something over the past few months? I don't remember anything about Fletch quitting work to go back to school ... do I? Or is he a teacher??? Enlighten, please!
But it must be said ... Nice guns, Fletch! Way to make those workouts count!!!
Just discovered you and read Bitter is the New Black in two days. I loved it. Much needed comic relief but not only comedy...It was real life. Thank you! I'll be getting my hands on your other reads very soon!
Hahahaha! He had to know exactly where this was going, right??
I have to say, I'm surrounded by loud kids in my office because all of my co-workers decided that they could just up and bring their kids to work today (they do this EVERY Friday before a long weekend - what's the deal?). I needed a good laugh. MUCH APPRECIATED!!

I have to give Fletch credit for going along with it!
Posted by: Carrie | August 29, 2008 at 04:01 PM
Oh, no. It's hysterical.
My husband would kill me if I tried that on him, though.

Posted by: elizabeth | August 29, 2008 at 12:25 PM
Did you remember to double knot his shoelaces, so he doesn't trip & hurt himself during recess? HA!
Posted by: JenFan | August 29, 2008 at 12:15 PM
Priceless. I'm so glad you found a school that would take him, after all the problems he has with feeding himself, being alone in the house, and all.
:)

Did he dress himself with his garanimals today?

Where's his Scooby Doo lunch box? It would make the whole look complete. He resembles an older Charlie Brown!
Posted by: tracee | August 29, 2008 at 11:16 AM
I hope he plays nice with the other boys and doesn't run with scissors.
Posted by: Medicated | August 29, 2008 at 11:09 AM
I think it's very cute! I just took a similar picture 2 weeks ago for my big boy!
