I just heard about this story on Mamarazzi (who got it from MSNBC.)
Jennifer Lopez, who appeared on Good Morning, America August 18th to discuss her preparations for the Malibu Triathlon, was overheard saying after the segment that she “couldn’t understand why everyone is talking about that swimmer,” according to a GMA source. “She couldn’t come up with (eight-time gold-medal winner Michael) Phelps’ name, [emphasis mine] and then she yammered on about how she was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that was the big story right now, not ‘the swimmer.’ ”
So, on the one hand, yay her for losing her baby bulk which had to be difficult if my experience with attempting to shed cupcake weight is any indication and even though she has the means and wherewithal to hire every single professional in the world to help her with this quest.
And on the other hand, WHO WANTS TO HOLD HER DOWN WHILE I PUNCH HER?

I hate her!!! I hope she falls and breaks an ankle in her little dinky triathlon.

Listen, I've lost both kinds & baby weight was much easier than cupcake weight and I did it WITHOUT a staff. Plus, way to be a nightmare of selfishness. Also, "Gigli". I'm just saying.

I want to believe that she was being funny and sarcastic but I am not sure that she is that clever. If anything maybe this will be her lesson that she just can't do humor. Stick to your dancing, music and horrible music Jennifer Lopez- at least no one gets hurt.

I'm not entirely sure J-Lo knows what the word "sarcasm" means, let alone how to use it. She has always been a media hound (her "relationship" with Ben Affleck was the biggest farce I've ever seen), so the general assumption that she just wants the spotlight on herself is pretty justified! But then, Michael Phelps is such a big-hearted guy, he'll probably come back with an offer to coach her for her triathalon.

Wait, wait... is anybody truly surprised over her ego? She was an arrogant [insert favorite curse word for horrid female here] before she ever had a reason to be. Oh wait. She's never had a reason to be that arrogant.
Although I do love that she's making a big deal about her triathalon or whatever and doesn't seem to realize that bragging about how much time she spends training is the equivalent to saying "I just had twins and I'm paying zero attention to them! Aren't I the most amazing mother ever?!?"

I've hated J.Lo for a long time. My hatred is now justified.
Must be nice to be able to focus so much time on entering a mini-triathlon after giving birth. You know, because it's not like she actually has to care for her twins or anything. /sarcasm
(Sarcasm fueled by having to return to work 2 1/2 months after the birth of my son and STILL having a post-baby pooch that makes this suit very uncomfortable, 20 months later.)

OMG Becky, Look at her BUTT! I don't think she'd be good at the swimming part with that rear. Phelps has a flat booty, helps the water sluice right off.

What a dipshit! Someone at work the other day said Michael Phelps was overrated and I nearly lost it on him. I'll give you he's overexposed, but overrated? I'd like to see YOU try to accomplish that feat, J-LO (and douchebag at work).

WHAT?! What is J-Ho smoking to think she is bigger then the Olympics... I would like to see her even try to qualify for something at Phelps' level. Good to know now I have even more reason to hate it.
